Crouse-Hinds series GUA explosionproof conduit outlet boxes are installed in conduit systems in hazardous areas to protect conductors in threaded rigid conduit, act as pull and splice boxes, change conduit direction, and provide access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes. GUA and GUR outlet boxes are certified for Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, D and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G.
GUA boxes are available in ten different hub arrangements, maximizing flexibility in the conduit system. They are available in Feraloy iron alloy (1/2" to 2"), copper-free aluminum (1/2" to 2") or stainless steel (3/4" and 1") construction.

Neoprene o-ring standard to meet NEMA 4 requirements (4X on stainless steel models)
Cast ears on cover to permit easy removal and tightening

Taper threaded hubs to provide grounding continuity
Smooth integral hub bushing protects conductor insulation when pulling
Surface covers furnished with boxes
Cover threads are 12 pitch standard; 16 pitch on select aluminum shapes and sizes
Sealing covers, dome covers and fixture hanger covers are available
GUR models feature compact design for confined spaces and recesses in cover to assist in cover tightening and removal
